The Clark County Highway Department has announced that pursuant to State Statute 349.16 all Clark County Highways will be posted for seasonal weight limits as of Monday, February 20, 2017.

RESTRICTIONS WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE UPON PLACEMENT OF SIGNS!!

These restrictions will remain in effect for the duration of the spring thaw. Please refer back to this website for any changes or updates to weight limits, including removals.

All Clark County Highways will be posted for a maximum of 6 tons per single axle and 10 tons for tandem axles.  See Seasonal Weight Limit Chart for additional information.

THESE RESTRICTIONS ARE FOR COUNTY TRUNK HIGHWAYS ONLY.
County highways are those signified with a letter; for example, County Rd A, County Rd H. For your convenience, you may view this map to see the highways of which we have jurisdiction.  (Note: The numbered state highways are included on this map for reference only.  They are under separate jurisdiction.)

Township roads are those which are listed with names; for example, Sand Road, Miller Avenue, etc.  Any weight restrictions on State, City, Village, or Township roads are handled by each respective entity.  If you need assistance with finding the correct contact for a township, please refer to the Directory of Public Officials located on the Government tab of the Clark County home page.
