2016 Seasonal Weight Limits
The Clark County Highway Department has announced that seasonal weight limits will be removed as of:

12:01 AM, THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2016.

By order of:
Randy J. Anderson
Highway Commissioner
Clark County Highway Department

Please check with Township officials before traveling on local roads.  Contact information links are listed below.  County highways are those signified with a letter; for example, County Rd A, County Rd H. For your convenience, you may view this map to see the highways of which we have jurisdiction.  (Note: The numbered state highways are included on this map for reference only.  They are under separate jurisdiction.)

Township roads are those which are listed with names; for example, Sand Road, Miller Avenue, etc.  Any weight restrictions on State, City, Village, or Township roads are handled by each respective entity.  If you need assistance with finding the correct contact for a township, please refer to the Directory of Public Officials located on the Government tab of the Clark County home page.

Until weight limits are removed, all Clark County Highways will remain posted for a maximum of 6 tons per single axle and 10 tons for tandem axles.  See Seasonal Weight Limit Chart for additional information.

In the interim between now and Thursday, April 14, 2016, you may download our Seasonal Weight Exemption Permit which will be reviewed by the Highway Commissioner for possible exemption on a case-by-case basis.  You may use this fill-in form, however, it must be printed, signed and returned with the marked map included by email to , or by faxing to (715) 743-2219.
