Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Rehabilitation & Living Center to ensure quality health care in a homelike environment and to provide for the health, welfare, and safety of the individuals that reside at our facility.

The Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center (CCRLC) is a 172 bed Medicare certified skilled nursing facility and a 16 bed certified facility for the developmentally disabled located near Owen. In addition, the Rehabilitation & Living Center also features a 8 bed community-based residential facility.  For over 85 years, CCRLC has been serving the health care needs of the mentally ill, developmentally disabled, and elderly individuals of our society. Because health care is always changing and evolving, specialized programs have been developed to meet the needs of specific afflictions such as Alzheimer's or a related dementia, Huntington's Disease, and intensive rehabilitation services.

Collaboration Efforts
CCRLC has taken pride over the years in developing and maintaining a close working relationship with other Clark County agencies. This was never more evident than in 1985 when CCRLC was merged with what was then referred to as Clark County Unified Services to create the Community Services Department. Adult Development Services, Rehabilitation & Living Center, and Community Services provide a wide array of services to Clark County residents in an efficient, cost effective manner. Cooperation between departments is excellent and duplication of services is minimized.

Board & Staff
As part of the Community Services department, the oversight committee for the Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center is the nine-member Community Services Board. This consists of five county board supervisors and four appointed members from the community. The Rehabilitation & Living Center Sub-Committee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility and consists of the five county board supervisors from the Community Services Board.

There are three major revenue producing programs ongoing at the Rehabilitation & Living Center. These are:

  • Community programs including our Adult Day Care Center and Community Outreach Program (outpatient services).
  • Nursing home / Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (inpatient services)
  • Community-Based Residential Facility (inpatient services)
  • Therapy services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services (outpatient services)

Employment opportunities are usually available for individual disciplines such as certified nursing assistants, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses. Refer to our ads in the Clark County newspapers for current openings or call our business office and request an employment application.
