Wild Rock Horse Trails
Clark County is proud to offer some of the finest horse trails in Wisconsin. Enjoy more than 41 miles of trail that wind and loop through a portion of the 133,000 acre Clark County Forest. The trail system utilizes forest lands ranging from easy to more difficult terrain.
Effective immediately, please be aware that all Clark County boat landings, forest roads and trails (ATV/UTV, Mountain Bike, Horse, and Off-Road Motorcycle) will be closed until further notice due to flooding concerns. A high level of precipitation over the last 48 hours has generated multiple flash flood warnings, and may have caused wide spread trail damage and/or jeopardized user safety. We have staff inspecting the County boat landings, forest roads and trails and assessing any damage, however since we have multiple sites, an extensive trail system, and limited staff there may be areas we are not able to fix right away. If you have plans to use the system(s) this weekend please check with the Forestry and Parks Department to get updates on closures.

Wild Rock County Park provides convenient trail access and a day use area complimented by playground equipment and a shelter. Overnight camping is available with 28 campsites, sanitary dump station, potable water and electric and water service to many sites. Picket lines and manure bunkers are available for use within the campground.

When riding in Wild Rock Horse Trails a trail pass must be purchased. Daily and season trail passes are available online, and at Wild Rock trail-head and the Clark County Forestry & Parks Office (715) 743-5140.

Individual Daily Pass $5
Individual Season Pass $25
Family Season Pass $50
