Attention Levis Mound Users:
In the summer of 2016 Levis Mound lost its Park Shelter which provided year round shelter, restrooms and water access. The Shelter reconstruction process has started and we have hopes that the new shelter will be constructed by September of 2017. Until that time, porta potties are available on location and water access is limited to the spring and summer months. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter and would like to thank NATA and all those who have donated to the rebuild of the Levis Mound shelter.

Clark County is proud to offer one of the finest non-motorized trail systems in Wisconsin. The Levis/Trow Mound Recreational Area is located within the southwest corner of Clark County and provides more than 34 miles of trails that wind and loop through a portion of the nearly 135,000 acre county forest. This area begins the "Driftless" area in the state, featuring sandstone bluffs or mounds-one of the unique natural features trail users enjoy here. The area is managed to maintain and protect the natural environment and wildlife habitat of Levis/Trow Mound while providing recreational opportunities and a sustained supply of raw forest products.

Daily and season trail passes are available online,at the Levis/Trow Mound Recreational Area trailheads and the Clark County Forestry & Parks Office (715) 743 - 5140.

Camping

Levis also offers camping opportunities for those who are looking for an overnight stay. The trailhead campground at Levis includes 8 non-electric campsites and rates are currently at only $13+/night per site. Premier camping opportunities are also offered at Russell Memorial Park, located just 5 miles south of Levis Mound on County Road J. At Russell Park, guests have access to a camp store, firewood for purchase, showers, and other amenities.
