Recreation & Recreational Trails
Our 133,000 acres of county forest land offer great out of door activities throughout the year. Numerous roads and trails throughout the forest provide access for hiking, scenic driving, wildlife observation, berry picking, motorized, and non-motorized recreational trail use.

Spring & Summer Recreation
Spring brings a bouquet of delicate wildflowers and budding forest as well as fabulous fishing for trout, northern pike, walleye, bass, pan fish, and muskellunge.

During the summer you will find fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, off road motorcycle, and ATV trails. Leisure driving amongst the many forest roads offers scenic driving and berry picking. Camping, picnics, swimming, boating and water skiing can be found in our many campgrounds and parks.

Autumn & Winter Recreation
Autumn brings the changing of the leaves. Clark County vistas offer acres of flaming foliage. The county also abounds with whitetail deer, traditional small game, and black bear.

Winter brings a flurry of excitement with snowmobiling, snowboarding, downhill skiing, tubing, and more. Clark County also offers quiet and peaceful surroundings in cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and vistas. Clark County is your winter getaway.
