School Health

The Health Department works closely with the school districts in Clark County. Services provided include vision and hearing screening and referrals when needed, blood pressure readings, education about puberty, STI/contraception, nutrition, dental care, blood borne pathogens (for staff) and various other topics.

The Nurses also provide services to the many Amish and Mennonite schools throughout the county. Immunization clinics are hosted by many of the schools every-other month, and hearing and vision screenings are also done.
