Cribs for Kids®
The Clark County Helath Department is pleased to offer the Cribs for Kids® program. This is a safe sleep program designed to educate families on proper sleep practices for their babies and provide safe sleep environments for the babies if needed.
SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) is the major cause of death in infants from 1 month to 1 year of age, with most deaths occurring between 2 and 4 months. Babies who sleep alone in a crib, on their back, without bumper pads, blankets, toys or pillows are less likely to die from SIDS.
Families who are in need of a safe crib for their child and are enrolled in at least one government assistance program, such as WIC, BadgerCare, Wisconsin Works (W-2) Cash Assistance, Wisconsin Shares, and Prenatal Care Coordination qualify to receive a Graco Pack ‘n Play at no cost to them.
For more information about the Cribs for Kids® program please contact Brittany Boyer-RN at 715-743-5106.
